Hockey season will be here before you know it and we’ve got a great fundraising event planned.  The First Annual FYHA Golf Tournament.  This will be held at the Franklin Country Club on Tuesday, September 16th with a shotgun start at 9am.  This will be a great way to kick of the season and bring the membership together.  The event is not just for golfers, spouses and guests can join the luncheon and volunteer to help with raffles, prizes and just have fun.

The 6th Annual Dusty Lardin Memorial Tournament is set to take place November 6th - 9th at the Franklin Veteran’s Arena. The tournament is held in memory of former FYHA Board member, coach, and referee Dusty Lardin. He believed in keeping the game fair and fun for players of all levels. FYHA sponsors the tournament for “D” level Squirt and Pee Wee teams to provide them with the opportunity to compete in and enjoy a tournament aimed at their level of play.

Franklin Youth Hockey is trying something new this year for clothing orders. We are going to order via an e-store.Go to http://www.poloworks.com/ In the password field type in flyers (in lower case) and you will be brought to the Franklin Flyers e-store.

We are using the same manufacturer as we did in years past for the clothing line for sizing purposes. All orders will be shipped directly to your house! All orders take approximately 2 weeks for turnaround and the company guarantees their work 100%. You can order any time you want! You have a choice of colors for certain items and we have added sport shirts (golf shirts)!

If a player is given a minor penalty of two minutes and on the same penalty receives a 10 minute misconduct, do the penalties run at the same time?
